In 1937, Tessa's grandfather bought one of the first properties in Keurboomstrand. Decades later, her mother coined the name Thyme & Again — a name that surprised everyone with how easily it stuck.
In 1993, Tessa left Cape Town behind and came home to the seaside village she'd loved since childhood. With a simple but powerful dream, a good dose of courage, and a vision rooted in community and quality, she began building what would later become a beloved destination. What started in a small, humble house grew — not just in size, but in soul.
Today we are more than just a farm stall. We are a gathering place. A piece of rest and authenticity where people come to relax with their children and dogs over a cup of local coffee, a fragrant breakfast, or something fresh from the bakery.
